RTV-2 silicone potting compounds for the electrical and electronics industry: ELASTOSIL® RT grades are two-component silicone rubbers, universally applicable for potting and coating in all branches of industry. The electrical properties are largely constant in a temperature range from -45°C to +180°C. At room temperature, they are comparable to those of other insulating materials. In contrast to these, however, the values for insulation resistance, dielectric strength and electrical dissipation factor hardly change even at higher measuring temperatures.

Silicone potting compounds from Ameba AG
Ameba AG in Frick (AG) supplies WACKER® silicone potting compounds to electronics, electrical and industrial companies throughout Switzerland. Potting compounds protect circuit boards, sensors, connectors and power supplies against moisture, dust, vibration and thermal cycling.
Which potting compound is right for you?
- Transparent, mixing ratio 9:1: ELASTOSIL® RT 601, RT 604
- Thermally conductive: SEMICOSIL® 962 TC
- Very soft, for sensitive components: WACKER SILGEL® 612 (silicone gel)
- Other addition-curing grades: ELASTOSIL® RT 602, RT 607, RT 628, RT 675, RT 745
- Condensation-curing (with catalyst T): ELASTOSIL® RT 426, RT 480, RT 563, RT-K
Addition or condensation curing?
Addition-curing silicones (A/B) cure with low shrinkage and without by-products, and curing can be accelerated with heat. Condensation-curing silicones cure at room temperature with a catalyst and are less sensitive to inhibition.
Technical data sheets and safety data sheets are available on each product page.
