RTV-2 ELASTOSIL® M moldmaking compounds from WACKER enable excellent reproduction accuracy. These silicone rubbers vulcanise at room temperature. Their high elasticity and excellent release properties enable vulcanisates made of ELASTOSIL® M to be removed from the model particularly easily. ELASTOSIL® M moldmaking compounds are available as condensation-curing silicones, which vulcanise by adding a hardener using air humidity, and as addition-curing silicones, which vulcanise by adding a platinum catalyst.
