WACKER® primers are used as adhesion promoters between silicone elastomers and other substrates such as metals, glass and thermoplastics. The primers are solvent-based and contain a mixture of reactive silanes and siloxanes. Their advantages include excellent adhesion to various substrates and suitability for coating techniques such as dipping, brushing or spraying. Further dilution in organic solvents is possible. These primers can be used for RTV-1, RTV-2, LSR and HTV silicones. We offer different solutions depending on the crosslinking system and substrate.
