The FB25 manual flame treatment set is a surface silicatization tool that works on the principle of flame pyrolysis. A gas mixture of (propane and butane) and PYROSIL®, consisting of organosilicon compounds, burns in the flame and forms a very dense and firmly adhering SiO2 layer on metal, glass, ceramics and plastics that is just a few nanometers thick.
